How fees work
Read this before you book. Questions are welcome at the front desk.
Insurance we work with
We bill some health plans for chiropractic visits. The front desk can tell you which plans we bill. Plans differ in what they pay, and a plan decides what it covers.
Many employer PPO plans
Some HMO and exchange plans
Plans that reimburse out-of-network visits
If you pay yourself
If you pay yourself, you pay at the visit, and your doctor tells you what care will cost before it begins. Parents who bring a child pay for the child's visit.
Receipts for reimbursement
Ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) at any visit. You can send it to your plan, and the plan decides what it reimburses.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us. We give you a written estimate before the visit.
Checking your benefits
Call the number on your insurance card before your first visit and ask what your plan pays for chiropractic care, whether you need a referral, and what you owe at each visit. Our front desk can go through the questions with you.
Does my plan cover chiropractic visits?
What do I owe at each visit?
Do I need a referral first?
A first visit is a talk, an exam and a plan. Your doctor explains the plan and what it costs before you decide. We ask for no health forms online.
Two more answers
Children, and changing a visit
Who pays for a child's visit
The parent or guardian who brings the child. A parent or guardian stays for the whole visit and signs for the child.
If you need to change a visit
Please call us as early as you can if you need to change a visit. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.
Ask for your estimate
Call or send a message and we will give you a written estimate before your visit.
