During pregnancy
During pregnancy: gentle care as your body changes
Care for expecting parents who want a chiropractor's hands-on help alongside their prenatal care. Visits use pillows and positions that suit you, and gentle, low-force methods.

What to expect
What a visit is like
What a visit includes
A talk, a short exam and, if your doctor recommends it, a gentle adjustment. Tell us your due month, and tell us if a position is not comfortable. We use pillows and a side-lying position when sitting or lying face down is hard.

Your prenatal care comes first
How long and how often
Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as your pregnancy goes on. We do not promise a number of visits.
What we do not claim
We do not claim to treat any pregnancy condition. We make no claim about the baby's position, the birth or your recovery, and results vary.
We do not replace your midwife or physician
We take no x-rays during pregnancy
When to see a physician first
Keep your prenatal appointments and tell your midwife or physician that you plan to see us. Call them first about bleeding, fluid, a bad headache, swelling, or a baby who moves less than usual.
A visit is billed to your health plan if we work with it, or paid at the visit. The fees page shows how.
Questions about this care
Can I come while pregnant?
Yes, with your midwife or physician's agreement. Tell us at booking so your doctor can plan the visit.
What is the Webster technique?
It is a gentle method of working on the pelvis, and some practices use it for expecting parents. Ask your doctor about the methods used here. We describe it and make no promise about the baby's position or the birth.
Will it hurt?
Most people feel light pressure, not pain, and the visit is paced to you. We stop whenever you ask.
Ready to book a visit?
Tell us a good time to reach you and we will call, text or email as you ask.
- A sudden severe headache or neck pain, dizziness, trouble speaking or seeing, new weakness or numbness, numbness in the groin or saddle area (between the legs and buttocks), or new bladder or bowel trouble needs emergency care now. Call 911 or go to an emergency room.
