First visit

A talk first, then an exam, then a plan

A first visit takes as long as it needs. Your baby is welcome, and we plan around feeding and naps.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Check in

Our front desk checks you in and goes through how fees work with you before you see the doctor.

  2. 02

    Step 2: A talk

Your doctor listens to how your days go, and asks about your health in person. Nothing about your health goes in an online form.

  3. 03

    Step 3: A short exam

A hands-on exam and a look at how you carry, feed and lift. For a child, a parent or guardian stays for the whole visit.

  4. 04

Step 4: A plan you can say no to

Your doctor explains the plan, what each step involves and what it costs, before you decide. We never ask you to start the same day.

Bring

What to bring

  • Your carrier

The one you use every day, so we can look at how it fits.

  • Your feeding pillow

Or the pillow you prop yourself with.

  • Your card

A photo ID, and an insurance card if you have one.

  • Your questions

Write them down, so they do not slip away mid-visit.

What we ask you not to send

Keep medical details for the room

Our online form asks only how to reach you. Your doctor asks about your health in person, where we can answer your questions as they come.

  • Name, phone, and how you like to be reached

  • A good time to call

  • Your questions about booking
